Fresh Find: 17.06.15- Everybody wants one, but there simply are not enough to cover market demand.

1994 Porsche Carrera Turbo 3.6 - As this was a one year only model with fewer than 1500 built for worldwide distribution these cars are quite rare. This model has long been a market and collector favourite as not only was the Turbo 3.6 a significant improvement over past 911 Turbos, but it also took on some Hollywood charm after starring in the hit - Bad Boys movie.

The vast majority of these cars spent their lives garaged and ignored and hence you will often see them offered with extreme low mileage at extremely high price points. Unlike those examples this one has been loved and used by just two caring owners and it has been with it's last owner since 1995!

The car has been garaged and cared for throughout it's life and currently has no known needs. Pristine history, and virtually factory original without modification. Yes it has minor wear throughout, but this is simply patina'd  evidence of a life very well lived.

I truly think you'll be hard pressed to find a nicer Turbo 3.6 at anything approaching the number the car is currently offered at: $179,000. USD

Fresh Find: 17.06.15 - Opportunity knocks... are you ready to answer the call - as there is little doubt that this rare Air Cooled 911 will be calling out to you.

Impossible, improbable but clearly doable!

This impressive find started life as a Tiptronic Equipped Carrera S, it was at the time a nice, clean history, dry climate, Southwest car, but the auto transmission was too much of a compromise for it's new owner. So a second damaged/salvaged Manual Transmission 993 was purchased and with the professional assistance of a nearby Pro Shop a transmission swap was completed using all stock Porsche parts sourced from the 29k mile manual 993.

In addition to the transmission swap the car has had a fresh professional windows out respray in it's original and beautiful Zenith Blue Metallic, an engine out reseal and other additional work that sets the next owner up for many more miles of Porsche enjoyment.

1998 Porsche Carrera 'S' - the factory Wide Body 993 C2S you have been lusting for, but this one is priced far less than anything comparable in the N.A. Marketplace.

Is the car perfect... no! 80k original miles, clean history but has minor interior wear, cracks in dash, rear parcel shelf damaged, windshield shows pitting.

Offered and near impossible to match $54,900. USD this may prove to be your last, best chance to get that Wide Body 993! Call now as this won't last.

Fresh Find: 17.06.13 - Getting tough to find what the market desires, but here is a rarely found, aging California Original, 911 Coupe that is still wearing it's Original Factory Paint.

Dry climate, higher mileage example... this car has reportedly been enjoyed by just 3 owners since new and it remains in impressive overall condition for a 'Driver'. Actual Total Mileage is a question on this car but it comes with a Clean 'No Hit' Autocheck Report.

Last of the near bullet proof 911 SCs - 1983 Porsche Coupe in Grand Prix White on Mocha Brown Interior. Dash has some normal cracking and seats look to have been recovered at some point in time.

Paint looks impressive in the supplied images, but certainly you'll have to suspect that although it remains highly presentable at near 35 years of age there is going to be some wear and tear.

Mechanically it is reportedly a strong runner that shifts well... not something you could say about many 911s with a 915 transmission at this age and mileage. No doubt there have been some rebuilds and refreshments mechanically, but all the past service records are not with the car.

At $31,000. USD this may prove to be a worthy purchase (once inspected) for the Air Cooled enthusiast looking to enter the market.

Fresh Find 17.05.04 - A 996 that should not be ignored!

One of my favorite water-cooled 911 subspecies - Early 996 with the Factory Aero Package.

2001 Porsche Carrera Coupe in Black on Black. Dry Climate, California car with a pristine history and only three owners from new.

110k miles (they actually drive their Porsches in Cali) but a recent engine rebuild including a fresh IMS Update.

Optioned right with Factory Aero Package, Turbo Twists, Factory Sport Seats, Three Spoke Steering Wheel and much more.

Great looking, strong running 996 at a bargain basement price when compared against any other unique 911.

Offered at $21,900. USD

Fresh Find: 17.06.13 - If you by chance have been considering building a Hot Rod - Air Cooled 911 think hard before you let this one slip away!

Doing it yourself can be a painful and surprisingly costly experience and you'll usually spend far more than you will have budgeted for. Buying a Hot Rod 911 that has been done and done well often.. in fact almost always makes far more sense and you get to play with it this season instead of a year from now!

Today we have an impressive G50 find - 1987 Porsche Carrera Coupe that started out as a straight, rust free G50/3.2. Owned by a determined and dedicated enthusiast this car underwent quite the transformation and you the next guy in line get to benefit from the past owners largess.

The car is now powered by a refreshed Air Cooled - 993 3.6 H6 which provides a major boost in power and performance, cosmetically the car was built as a RUF tribute, fitted with genuine RUF front bumper, correct narrow body RUF alloys, RUF wind pillar fillers, aero mirrors, and a IROC style rear bumper. Interior remains mostly original besides color matched das bolt in cage, genuine RUF steering wheel, and color matched gauges. The suspension has been upgraded to Bilstien HD's, turbo tie rods, lowered and corner balanced. Stopping power courtesy of 996 brake kit with euro floating rotor and cross drilled and slotted rotors in the rear.

Overall a well built G50 Coupe with all of the I wants and priced sensibly given the investments that have been made at $54,900. USD - this is not a project piece, the car and modifications were completed to a high standard and everything works including AC.

Fresh Find: 17.06.12 - Okay it's been awhile in fact far too long since our last update, but we are back at the desk and ready to get busy once again.

This is a truly rare find virtually everywhere... Factory Wide Body Carrera Cabriolet (M491) but rarer still as it is a Factory M470 Code Car with the rear Spoiler Delete!

Fabulous two owner from new, California find that was originally a Tourist Delivery Program Car.

This Special Order Example is in Mint Condition throughout still wearing it's factory Guards Red on Super Rare Marine Blue Leather.

Owned and loved by a long retired gentleman who is ready to let his pride and joy go onto the next lucky owner.

1987 Porsche Carrera G50 Cab - 72k dry climate miles from new.

The great stuff never comes cheap - this rare find is offered privately at $90,000. USD

Fresh Find: 17.06.12 - Air Cooled 911 Value.

I know that many will argue, but I have always had a thing for these traditional Targa cars. Yes the roofs can't be ignored and yes they may not be quite a rigid as the coupes, but the easy open/closed cabin simply adds another fun, yet practical, element to Classic Porsche ownership.

Well documented west coast car with a rather low actual 135k miles on the odometer.

1983 Porsche 911 SC Targa - Platinum Metallic on Mocha Leather - looks virtually original and just as it left the factory.

Pure Air Cooled Porsche Value @ $29,995. USD

Fresh Find: 17.05.09 - Two owners from new and a dry climate find that has been garaged kept.

1986 Porsche Carrera Targa - just 85k original miles on this 3.2L/915 Carrera.

Guards Red on Grey Leather Interior. Looks to original and very well preserved throughout.

Looks to be a value buy at the private seller's ask of $35,000. USD

Fresh Find 17.05.04 - Looking for value in a 993 Coupe in today's market is like finding the proverbial needle in a haystack!

That said, this lovely dry climate find shows very good promise.

1996 Porsche Carrera (993) Coupe. 282hp Air Cooled H6 with Varioram and 6 Speed Manual Transmission.

The final iteration of the air cooled 911 and considered by many Porsche Enthusiast to be not just the last but the best of the breed.

Pristine History Car - finished in Grand Prix White on Grey Leather with Black Dash. Higher mileage than some but clearly this one has been loved and respected as it shows more like a 60k mile example throughout.

The current owner has had the car since 2005 and during his ownership years he had had the car serviced regularly at his local authorized Porsche Dealer - right up until its current 125k miles mark.

An impressive 911 in near shockingly nice overall condition at the offered price point. Private seller is asking $38,500. USD

Fresh Find: 17.05.03 - rare 70's Factory Carrera!

With just 395 U.S. delivered Carrera Coupes produced by Porsche in 1975 these cars are getting hard to come by especially at a buy number that makes any sense.

In many ways these cars are closely related decedents of the hallowed 1973 Carrera RS cars that now command $1 million dollar plus at auction. The U.S. specified Carreras (1974-1977) were somewhat detuned and encumbered with performance robbing emissions control hardware when compared against their ROW brothers, but much of that hardware has been long ago removed on most of these cars.

The car is reported to be virtually stock and all original including the nicely kept original interior in Cork. Reportedly a three owner car from new with the current owner having the car for the past 9 years.

49k miles recorded in total!

More to learn for sure but our interest has been garnered as priced at $63,000. USD

Fresh Find: 17.05.03 - Fabulous 911 alternate for the knowing Porschephile.

1987 Porsche 944 Turbo - This is a rarely found virtually stock and all original example, which is far rarer that you may think as so many of these cars fell into the hands of the fast and furious crowd.

Just Two Owners from new, a garage kept southern example with only 42,500 original miles!

Performance that was on par with the 911s of their era in combination with a beautifully balanced front engine rear wheel drive chassis that is a pleasure to drive at speed.

comes with service records from new and it's priced right at $23,999. USD

Fresh Find 17.05.03 - One very are Porsche!

1988 Porsche Carrera Targa - Turbo Look - Factory M491!

Only 559 M491 Targas were ever produced by Porsche and just 80 were made for the 1988 Model Year. So this is one of the rarer 911 models.

This find is a higher mileage California car that has recorded 200k miles over the years. It was the recipient of a $18k repaint in it's original Factory Paint to Sample Colour.

Currently wearing a none original set of seats but the originals are available.

Lots more to learn on this car to fully investigate the current quality of the piece, but given it's rarity you may find it of interest. We welcome your calls.

Currently offered at $95,000. USD

Used 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera

Fresh Find: 17.05.02 - Cheap yet worthy Porsche 911s have just about disappeared from the marketplace and even the often unloved 996/911s have moved up market.

Dry climate California Find with an impressive history that documents a life well lived. That all said this is a driver not a show car as it has 95k original miles, but it's a nice one.

1999 Porsche Carrera Coupe (Early 996) with the rarely found full Factory Aero Package. Ocean Blue Metallic on Dark Grey Full Leather with Gauges in Aluminum, Three Spoke Wheel, Xenon Lights, Power Seats and more. Currently wearing a set of Modular Cup Rims.

Sure there is a little evident patina on this piece, but still overall a car that shows well.

Priced at $15,900. USD, which is a number we don't see often anymore on any 911 that we like.

Fresh Find: 17.05.02 - Pure Value in a Max Loaded 911.

A 997.2 that you'll fall head over heels for but won't force you to force open the piggy bank.

2010 Porsche Carrera 4S Cabriolet - this is a two owner car with a pristine history from new and importantly a car that has been maintained by both owners at the same authorized Porsche Dealer from day one. Not a parked and ignored Porsche as this one has been driven... 68k miles (109,000 km) of travel has been recorded on the odometer.

Fresh 17.05.01 - Rare Porsche - drive and enjoy or preserve for future profit.

Factory M491 Carrera Cabriolet - Wide Body, Turbo Look, Supersport - no matter what you call it it is special!

Low production volume and it's unique factory build near guarantee that this model will continue to be a treasured 911. Production numbers for the 930 influenced Carreras is far lower than the 930 model that it shares many of it's components and for many driver's/owners this is considered the better driver of the two as the M491 cars although not as fast have far smoother power delivery and a 5 speed manual in place of the Turbo 930's 4 speed.

1987 Porsche Carrera Cab - G50!

This one has been enjoyed, not ignored and left parked as it has 105k miles on the odometer. A southern car that was sourced back in 2003 by the current owner direct from the local Porsche Dealer.

Guards Red on Black Leather, original paint and accident free.

Sensibly offered by the private seller at $58,500. USD

Fresh Find: 17.05.01 - Dry Climate Beauty... Just 74k original miles!

White Gold Metallic on Brown Leather all virtually original and well preserved - yes there is some interior wear but it is consistent with age and mileage.

Current owner/seller has had the car since 2007 and has cared well for the piece, keeping it garage kept and maintained. Recent Targa Roof Rebuild, fresh clutch at 54k miles, recent tires. Always hand washed!

A California find that any air cooled focused buyer should put on your consideration list as it looks right and it's priced sensibly.

1986 Porsche Carrera Targa - Air Cooled H6 with 915 Transmission.

Offered at $39,995. USD

Fresh Find 17.04.25 - Don't let this one get away because find a 6 Speed Manual 993 Coupe that compares, at anything approaching this price point is going to be tough!

First year 993 and although it has 10hp less than the later 993 cars these early cars are often much preferred by those in the know.

1995 Porsche Carrera Coupe in Aventurine Green Metallic on Tan Leather.

Yes it is as you may have expected a higher mileage example with 136k miles on the odometer, but looking around the car you would truly never know. Clearly this thing has been shown some serious love over the years!

This is a very nice quality 'driver' that is reportedly mechanically correct and it comes with service records intact.

Hurry to the phone because this will not be around the marketplace for long. Value on either side of the border as offered at $39,895. USD

Fresh Find 17.04.21 - My personal favorite 996 model and one of the rarest of the breed as it is a special limited edition model with just 1963 produced.

2004 Porsche 911 - 40th Anniversary Edition! This model, unlike many of Porsche's  Special Editions is truly special.

This commemorative model is based on the RWD 996 Carrera, but comes with the X51 Carrera Engine which offers 25 more horsepower (for a total of 340) from its 3.6-liter flat-six. Also the car has more aggressive sport suspension settings, and a mechanical rear-axle differential lock.

Special exterior styling cues include the same silver metallic paint color used on the Carrera GT, a 911 Turbo-style front end, an aluminum "911" logo on the engine cover (in place of “Carrera”), and polished 18-inch wheels and tailpipes. Inside, the interior is trimmed in dark gray leather and is fitted with a silver-trimmed center console, seat backs, dashboard strips, and handbrake lever. Aluminum-accented instruments and a numbered "911 40th Anniversary" plaque on the center console round out the package.

In addition this particular car was optioned further with Xenon Light, Power Seats, Heated Seats, Bose Sound, Factory Navigation, Rear Wiper etc.

This one is what you'll want in your Keeper Porsche - One Owner California Car with a strong dealer service history and a Pristine CarFax.

Just 47k original, dry climate miles and clearly a car well loved as there is no evidence of normal wear and tear.

Yes priced a little higher than some 996 models, but the value over the long term is ... offered at $35,900. USD

The X51 engine alone was a $17k USD option back in 2004!

Fresh Find: 17.04.12 - Don't build it - buy it, and you are likely to save big...

We often have prospective clients looking to buy a tired air cooled 911 to restore or so that they can construct their personal version of the 911 focused a little more on pure performance with little concern for originality. Originality has it's place for sure in the Porsche world, but Singer's founder Rob Dickinson has done alright with 911s built his way and not quite as Porsche had originally imagined.

Today we have a fine example... maybe a little to track and not enough street for some buyers, but those with that concern needed worry too much because much of the race/track ware on this 911 Beast can be toned down quite easily. So whether you have your sights on a high performance, classic 911 for the track or for the street this one should be on your radar.

The car was built by one of California best Porsche Shops some years back as a streetable track car clearly at great expense and it has seen great success over the year in PCA Autocross plus approximately 25k street miles.

This is a 1981 Porsche 911SC that currently carries a weight of 2450lbs and is powered by a 275hp (at the rear wheels) 3.6L (1990 964) Air Cooled that has been highly modified with a focus on reliable power.

Every aspect of the car, mechanical or cosmetic has been addressed using the best available parts and suppliers that the marketplace has to offer with lots of recent updates and rebuilds.

So much more to tell you on this car so we welcome your call to discuss the options further.

This cannot be built today for anything near the asking price!

Privately offered at $53,500. USD

Fresh Find: 17.04.011 - The G50 Coupe that you have been holding out for is finally here!

1988 Porsche Carrera Coupe - reportedly a One Owner California/Hawaii car until 2015 when the next California caretaker took ownership.

217hp 3.2L Air Cooled with 5 Speed G50 Transmission - the best and the last iteration of the traditional 911.

Gorgeous Venetian Blue Metallic on Linen Leather - virtually original car with some paint refreshments over the years but still carrying much of it's original paint.

This is a nice 'driver grade' car with a strong history and a clean CarFax.

Recent work totals about $13k in mechanical work - nothing major just some good solid upkeep. Engine is dry as can been seen by the images and it runs strong.

Love What You Drive this season... grab onto this before it is gone as finding an ownership worthy G50 Coupe at a sensible number is getting tougher by the day.

Offered at $44,900. USD

Fresh Find 17.04.11 - Hard to source a 993 like this find.

1997 Porsche Carrera '4S' Coupe - so a factory wide body 993 that shares most of it's mechanicals with the 993 Turbo sans the Turbo engine of course.

This rare virtually original '4S'  was taken to the next level when first ordered as it has the Factory Aero Package too. A look that just screams pure performance.

Powered by the final iteration of Porsche's Air Cooled Carrera Engine it offers 282hp on tap with a 6 Speed Manual plus AWD. Big Red Turbo Brakes, Suspension and Turbo Twists complete the base 4S Package.

69k original miles from new and we think it may prove worthy of a good look over even though it has had one bump in it's otherwise pristine history.

Offered at $74,900. USD

Fresh Find 17.04.011 - G50 Targa available.

Not too many details to share, but the current owner has had the car since 2003 and it has treated well.

Just 91k original miles, rare flat back sans the Turbo Spoilers you find on so many 911s from this era.

Triple Black car with fresh brakes all around and no known mechanical needs.

Gleaming 1987 Porsche Carrera priced practicably at just $40,000. USD

Fresh Find: 17.04.011 - Pristine and Pure Porsche Performance Value!

2001 Porsche Boxster 'S' - powered by the potent 250hp 3.2L H6 with 6 Speed Manual and RWD. These mid-engine Porsches will shock a lot of 911 drivers once they hit the twisty stuff and the price points make them performance bargains.

Pretty as a picture in Dark Blue Metallic on Boxster Red Full Leather.. the car has just 52k original miles with a well documented and quite impressive service history plus a pristine CarFax.

Looks to be totally stock and original with the exception of the updated Stereo Head Unit.

Offered at $12,900. USD

Fresh Find: 17.04.07 - Still more question to be answered, which is always the case when looking at a Porsche from this era, but everything so far indicates that this will prove to be a nice opportunity.

1978 Porsche 911 SC Targa - described as a virtually all original car - numbers matching item in reportedly excellent condition.

Original 3.0L Air Cooled was rebuilt by a local Porsche Specialist just 3k miles ago.

The car looks great in the supplied images and the paint is reportedly original with some touch ups.

If it runs as good as it looks... and we believe from the seller's description that it will - it is pure value at the current asking price.

Offered at $29,900. USD - this will not last!

Fresh Find 17.04.07 - There has been lots of money and time spent on getting this Porsche right and you could be the lucky recipient of the pasts owners largess.

Here is the build details:

Engine Rebuild by local Porsche Pro: High performance Nikasil  8.5:1 pistons, new piston rings, new rod bearings set, new main bearing set, Dilavar steel head studs, new connecting rod bearings, new connecting rod bolts, new oil return  tubes with the latest turbo silicone “0” ring seals, new Carrera up-grade to oil-pressure-fed chain tensioner kit, new chain guide rails of high impact injection molded plastic type, late-style chain wheel supports, crankshaft polished, camshafts were sent to California for ‘street performance’ regrind, new valve guides, new valve springs, new valve seals, new valve keepers, new upgraded ribbed valve covers, TRW performance intake & exhaust intake and exhaust valves, 11 blade fan upgrade, SSI heat exchangers.

Suspension: Weltmeister sway bar on the front, stock rear sway bar, Weltmeister 29mm rear torsion bars, stock front sway bar, Koni adjustable performance front and rear shock absorbers,

Brakes: Powder Coated Calipers, new master, new brake lines and hoses, metal master brake pads, ATE Super Blue Racing brake fluid.

Body/paint restoration by local Pro Shop: tear down of body (doors, front hood, rear engine lid, glass, trim removed), body stripped to bare metal, repairs to any rust/damaged areas, surface prep and paint (color change from silver to red), all rubber seals replaced with new, reassembly, very good panel fit/finish, beautiful wet sanded/buffed paint surface.

Interior:  mostly original in beautiful condition, new headliner installed.

1974 Porsche 911 Coupe in Guards Red on Black 115k miles recorded.

No matter which way to look at this 911 it's a lot of Air Cooled Porsche - ready to be enjoyed for $34,900. USD

Fresh Find: 17.04.06 - Are you getting tried of looking, and looking, but never pulling the trigger and making that Porsche buy! There are good cars available, but you have got to get past the reality that good Porsche air cooled cars simply cost more than they did a few years back, and that's true whether your in the U.S.A., Canada or Europe.

1991 Porsche Carrera '4' Coupe - this is a three owner 80k original mile beauty that has been adult owned since new. Rarely seen colour combo in Medium Blue Metallic on Grey Full Leather - Garage Kept under the Covers,

Paint is described by the seller as 9.6 out of 10. Clearly this car has been serviced regularly and loved a lot by all three owners.

Finding an ownership worthy 964 Coupe is getting tough as by this age many of them have some significant flaws.

964s of late have been a great place to stick your dollars and the mix of traditional looks and 3.6L Air Cooled performance is a heady mix that is tough to beat.

Offered at $49,900. USD

Fresh Find 17.04.04 - To be honest the builder of this car probably went a little overboard on this build and likely spent far in excess of what he is going to get back at sale, but for the new buyer this could all be a real positive thing.

Yes for many of you, you'll want to turn away in disgust, as this resto-mod 911 may not be your thing... almost sacrilegist to some.

1986 Porsche Carrera Coupe IROC/RSR Look - now packing a 375hp LS1 V8. The workman ship throughout was some of the best we have seen for such a build - lots of it highly custom fabrication.. and you know this doesn't come cheap.

Virtually everything was done including Turbo Flares in Metal, Bare Metal Respray, Comprehensive Suspension and Brake Upgrades etc.

So much more to learn & see.

Available at $47,000. USD

Fresh Find 17.04.05 - There is just so many aspects to this gorgeous SC Cabriolet that hints to this being  great find.

Don't let it get away...

1983 Porsche SC Cabriolet in traditional Guards Red on Black Leather with Factory Sports Seats.

What's special - it's a virtual original, and a dry climate car from new - ORIGINAL PAINT, ORIGINAL INTERIOR, NUMBERS MATCHING!

Just two meticulous owners from new - garage kept and well maintained. None of the normal evidence of wear, and no corrosion damage.

That is not to say the car is showroom new as with 134k original miles under it's belt it has been used and loved and there exists of course some road rash on the original paintwork... but to my eyes this is Patina - the car is real, not a fluffed up fake.

Importantly the car's original engine underwent a documented, total rebuild with some mild performance modification at 110k mile mark. So unlike many of these this one continues to run strong.

Provenance & Originality to key hallmarks to a great Air Cooled find.

This is the first year that Porsche produced a 911 Cabriolet with just a little over 4000 made for worldwide distribution in this introductory year.

Yours for $36,900. USD

Fresh Find: 17.04.04 - Beat the Market - RARE CANADIAN BUY!

2007 Porsche Carrera '4S' Coupe - this is a ONE OWNER British Columbia Car that has been Porsche Dealer Serviced from new.

355hp H6 with 6 Speed Manual & AWD - Factory loaded with all of the 'I Want's' and finished in Factory Original Black on Black with Sport Design Rims and Sport Seats.

Yes it has higher mileage than many Canadian cars at 160k kms but the car friendly BC Climate and Dealer Care makes this an opportunity you won't want to slip by.

Offered at $45,000. CAD or approximately $34k USD - hard to match the value equation on this one

Give me a call if your looking to chase this one, as there will be more to learn as we dig deeper!

Fresh Find 17.04.04 - Finding a well valued 996 Turbo these days is like finding the proverbial needle in a haystack!

Well today we have a nice find and it's priced right on target. $126,200. USD was the Original List on this car as optioned when new!

2001 Porsche Turbo Coupe - 415hp Twin Turbo H6 with 5 Speed Tiptronic 'S' Transmission. Yes I know you were wanting a manual example... but in a Turbo with this power on tap there is really no need and no advantage in rowing your own gears.

75k original dry climate, southern miles from new with good evidence of Porsche dealer servicing while in the care of it's last owner.

Pristine History car and the car itself shows minimal evidence of wear and appears original throughout with the exception of some aftermarket rims and an updated Navigation/Stereo Head Unit.

Stunning Turbo in Speed Yellow and factory optioned right with Black Full Leather with Contrast Stitching in Yellow and painted backs to match the exterior, Sport Seats, Seat Belts in Yellow, Power Seats, Xenon Lights and more.

The ask is a very sensible $33,900. USD and currently we see nothing in the market that compares.

Fresh Find: 17.04.03 - Looking for a Pure Value 911... the 996 cars may be the answer to your prayers. These 911s offer an unmatched combination of performance/quality/price that none of the other 911s can approach.

The world it would appear loves the 996 Turbo and GT3 cars with the Metzler Engines and yet they seem to shy away form the Carrera cars from the same era. It all comes down to the engine and the noise created in the marketplace and online about the suggested massive failure rate of the base engine due to the infamous IMS Issue. And yes to some degree the shunning made sense but not now, today with prices of the 996s scraping the bottom while 996 Turbos and GT3s soar in value.

If you are a bargain shopper or a Porschephile on a budget - do not ignore this 996 Coupe as there is value to be found here.

2003 Porsche Carrera Coupe - 116k Dry Climate Miles from new - Pristine history car in immaculate condition throughout.

315hp 3.6L H6 with 6 Speed Manual

10 Spoke Porsche Rims, Xenon Lights etc.

Offered at $17,888. USD

Let's dig deeper together and find out more.

Fresh Find: 17.03.31 - Own and Drive a piece of automotive history - not quite ready for the museum, but certainly worthy of inclusion for most any Porschephile's garage or small collection.

1962 Porsche 356B - 1600 Karmann Coupe - Numbers Matching with COA and Kardex to prove the originality of the piece.

A dry climate California only car since arriving direct from Germany in 1963.

Recently reviewed and serviced to the tune of $10k USD by the renown 356 Specialist Ted Blake with services including:

Services included: battery box replacement, entire brake system replacement, distributor rebuild, engine tune up, front suspension king and link replacement, interior upholstery repair, clock repair, seat belt replacement, fluids and filters.

The car runs, drives and looks excellent and it has been prepped so that the next guy in line can simply enjoy owning and driving this piece of Porsche Treasure.

The ask is $96,000. USD

Fresh Find 17.03.31 - If ypu have been looking around the marketplace for some time now you'll know just how hard it is getting to find a nice ownership worthy 944.

Dry, sunny California Find!

1987 Porsche 944 finished in Guards Red on Black Leather.

The super nice 944 had just one Calif owner for it's first 24 years with a couple of owners since and now it has come available to you.

106k miles but it looks like half that - mostly original throughout with a few sensible modification - 16" S2 Rims, Bilstein Shocks & Euro H4 Headlights.

Clean CarFax and priced to sell at $8988. USD

Fresh Find 17.03.29 - I like what I see here as this is far nicer than the norm when it comes to a 914.

Finally the early air cooled Porsche 914 is getting some respect from the large market. There has always been a strong near cult like following for this model but it is just recently that the other Porschephile have given this car the nod.

1974 Porsche 914 1.8L - yes I know you were hoping for the 2.0L engine, but you won't find a 2.0 in this kind of nick for this type of money.

The 1.8L is slightly less potent being down about 15% in HP over the 2.0 but it is still a great driving mid engine sports car.

Clearly this car has been show lots of respect and some serious money as it is spot on from stem to stern - it looks tight and right with non evidence of corrosion or past rust repair and Signal Orange looks so good on these cars! Interior is very fresh throughout and the engine bay looks original with the Bosch Fuel Injection still in place.

Of course there remains lots more digging on this one to learn more about it mechanically and structurally but everything so far points in the right direction.

Southern California Find priced at $14,995. USD

Fresh Find: 17.03.27 - Rare find ONE OWNER, ALL ORIGINAL and highly desirable!

1989 Porsche 944 Turbo - all of the U.S. delivered 944 Turbos are spec'd the same as the previous years 944 Turbo 'S' Cars and come with the potent 247hp Engine, 5 Speed Manual & LSD Differential plus enhanced brakes and suspension components.

These cars were fast when new and still until this day they provide surprising on road performance both in a straight line as well as in the corners.

This being a one owner California original it has like all Cali cars been driven and it has accumulated 142k miles to date. No it's not mint, not a garage queen and no doubt you'll want to tidy this one up, but it is the real thing with reportedly proper maintenance since new.

Stock, never modified, raced or otherwise abused!

The private seller's ask is $17,895. USD but he is looking for sensible offers.

Fresh Find: 17.03.27 - Great option for the Porsche buyer working within a budget.

2009 Porsche Cayman - now the 2009 cars have the new and much improved DFI Engine that not only provide additional power but more importantly they have no IMS like the earlier years. No IMS is a big thing because prior to 2009 the Cayman, Boxsters and 911s all had the potential for engine implosions due to failed Intermediate Shaft Bearing breakdown.

This is a Base Carrera with the 2.7L H6 Engine and 6 Speed Manual Transmission that came nicely optioned and provides real world performance that is similar to the 2006-2008 Cayman 'S' cars.

The Porsche 19" Sport Design rims in Silver really set this beauty up nicely and separates it from the pack.

83k original dry climate California miles and religiously serviced with documents to attest to the owners attention to detail when it came to the care of this car.

Priced at $26,500. USD - we think it may prove worthy of your consideration.

Fresh Find 17.03.24 - If you have been sitting back while our carefully curated parade of Classic Porsche cars past by month after month it may be time for you to get serious!

Spring 2017 is finally here and it's opportunities like this stunning mid 70's Porsche that hopefully will get you buying and not just looking.

If you are a fan of the traditional Stainless Steel Targa Cars (like me) you are simply going to want this one.

Stunning 1977 Porsche 911S in correct Porsche Silver on Black Interior. The car is an immaculate example that is corrosion free  throughout with all of it's major mechanicals recently refreshed.

Just 2,000 miles ago this car had both the Engine & Transmission fully rebuilt, but we sense that was just the part of it, as when you look under the car it's near as nice as it is on top - virtually original and pristine.

Rebuilds were completed by one of the south's best Porsche Specialist garages and the invoices are with the car.

Yes it is a few more dollars than some you'll see of this vintage but trust us this is value... ask is $42,500. USD

1988 Porsche 928 S4

Fresh Find: 17.03.20 - Long Term Ownership and the history that goes with it is something we all like and this one has that in spades.

1988 Porsche 928 S4 - with the 928 they just got better with each year of production and this one comes with over 10 years of refinement not found in the early 928s.

Blessed at birth with the fabulous 4 Cam 5.0L V8 offering it's driver 316hp to play with and the this one has the Mercedes developed Auto Transmission which is perfect for the Grand Touring nature of this model.

This one has been in the hands of it's third owner for the past 18 years and 27k miles and it has been garage kept safe from any potentially damaging weather and it shows! The car is virtually all original with it's original factory paint intact and the impressive original Black Leather Interior showing little to no wear.

All maintenance records are with the car since this owners purchase in 1999 and the car is reportedly in need of nothing.

Modifications from new include Porsche Cup Rims and Updated Stereo Head Unit.

It is getting hard to find original undamaged 928s in this kind of shape so don't just let this one slip by.

Nice solid former Californian air cooled just right for the buyer looking for a presentable driver.

1981 Porsche 911 SC Coupe - oh these dry climate coupes can be hard to track down!

Yes like all of these west coast daily drivers the mileage is a little higher - this one has 216k miles on the odometer, but that only works out to 6k miles a year.

What we really like about this one other than the well preserved cosmetics is the 1.5 inches of documents that come with it including invoices for a past engine and transmission rebuild.

One repaint in it's original Blue Metallic, refreshed front seats and a clean engine bay.

Clean history, strong running air cooled for just $32,500. USD

Fresh Find: 17.03.20 - California Dreaming! Why you may ask do we spend so much time seeking out California Cars? Simply put just like in the days of the gold rush we find that there is "value in them there hills". This state is home to more car nuts than anywhere else on earth, the climate overall is very car friendly as it is both clean and dry, the selection is large and in general terms the cars are simply better loved.

2004 Porsche Carrera Coupe - well maintained example with 28 recorded service visits throughout it's life. Looks to be stock and unmodified and finished in gorgeous Grey Metallic on Full Black Leather. 90k original miles, but it shows like a car with 50k miles on the odometer.

Fresh Find 17.03.20 - One Owner, Californian with documented Dealer Service from new!

Quite a mouthful when you are talking about a 2004 Porsche Boxster 'S'.

Yes lots of these available but the good ones are harder to come by than you may think.

Sharp all around in Silver Metallic on Black Full Leather with Sport Design Rims.

91k original miles, but clearly this one has been cared for as it looks like a car with under 50k miles.

Pristine History with 20 service visits to date and freshly serviced.

At just $13,900. USD this is one nice Porsche.

Fresh Find: 17.03.15 - Every once and a while a 928 comes into view that does not just look right, but it is priced right too!

Values on the 928 cars has like all the old Porsches have been heading up market - no not soaring as many of the air cooled cars from this era, but still heading up instead of down. Hence finding a nice one priced aggressively  s getting tougher by the day... this is one of those cars!

1986 Porsche 928'S' - 32 Valve Four Cam V8 with 4 Speed Automatic... yes I know you want the 5 Speed Manual, but they cost lots more and when you really think about the 928 - it's a Grand Touring car not a sports car and the Mercedes developed automatic is both reliable and works well in this application.

Nice Driver Quality find with 86k original miles, well loved, well maintained (we are informed) and virtually original example with minimal wear and tear.

Of course we need to dig deeper before we would recommend this as a buy but from what we know so far everything is pointing in the right direction on this California car. Don't sit back and wait on this or else someone else is going to buy it out from under you! Call today.

The ask is $12,999. USD

Fresh Find: 17.03.15 - Is this the perfect Air Cooled' Porsche... not quite, but we are getting close and certainly a car that should be under consideration if you are a Porsche buyer on a budget.

The car started life as your basic 1974 Porsche 911 and left the factory painted Silver. Now for a long time these 'G' Series (74-77) 911 cars were considered by many to be the bastard child the Porsche world. Virtually unloved and unwanted by those in the know back in the day!

Oh how times have changed with this 911 model, as they have been rediscovered by hordes of Porschephiles looking to come as close as possible (within budget) of the storied 1973-911RS. The G Series cars share many of the attributes of their more popular older cousins including a version of the 2.7L Engine and Light Curb Weight, but when they left the factory they were saddled with Emission Control Systems that not just neutered the engine, but eventually killed the engines too. They also had ride heights set to address U.S. Bumper Height requirements making them appear as a 911 on stilts.

All the negatives aside the G Series cars were still 911s and hence a great sports car was hidden under the skin - all it took was some mechanical correction and these cars have now quickly become the darling of the marketplace. Where we once saw the G Series as a cheap way into the 911 world we are now often finding these cars priced way up market.

This nice clean example has undergone that metamorphic transformation with a full Engine Rebuild using all the right stuff, a full suspension refresh including Weltmeister Bars and Koni Shocks and a complete Bare Metal Repaint/Colour Change to Guards Red.

The Interior remains mostly original with the exception of a fresh headliner.

All the work was completed by local Porsche Specialist Shops and the finished project now some years later still looks great and reportedly runs strong.

Now it's not all original and I don't expected it to be perfect but as priced with all the work that has been done it presents as an opportunity simply looking for that right buyer! Hurry Call Today.

Available at $34,900. USD

Fresh Find 17.03.14 - Is it time to let your phobias good and embrace the Tiptronic 911s?

This is a big ask we know as clearly we almost all want a Manual 911, but with the price differential between the Manual and Tiptronic Air Cooled 911s continuing to grow it's getting harder to turn away from ownership worthy Tip 911s.

Today we have another nice California Original - 1995 Porsche (993) Coupe - 272 HP Air Cooled with Tiptronic Transmission & RWD.

130k dry climate miles from new... I know you'll say that is high mileage but ay less than 6000 miles per year this is low mileage for a four season Cali car.

Two owner example with good documentation of care throughout it's life and it's a car that presents far nicer than most any you'll find at anything approaching this mileage.

Aventurine Green Metallic on Grey Leather... one of our favorite combos.

Try and find a 6 Speed equipped 993 Coupe that approaches the quality of this - they are available but you'll pay far more!

Offered at $35,900. USD

Fresh Find 17.03.14 - Two owners from new with 45 documented service visits from new. This is a Porsche that has been cared for by both of it's past owners!

Pristine history car and priced aggressively for a Series 2/996 with this history and condition!

Available at $19,990. USD

Fresh Find 17.01.14 but now rediscovered 17.03.07 for less - Probably one of the most chased Porsche models of recent years - the undeniable fabulous 993 Twin Turbo.

Who among us doesn't have the desire to own and drive one of these Air Cooled Treasure? If you have been chasing one of these you'll be well aware just how tough it is to find a ownership worthy example that is priced within the realm of reason.

So today we have such a find a nice quality 'Driver'... yes a little bit of imperfect but we sense simply perfect for the buyer that wants to drive his TT - not just leave it parked in storage in hopes of continued value appreciation.

Fresh Find: 17.03.07 - Love What You Drive - but pay less!

Nobody is giving air cooled Porsche away these days especially the highly sought after G50/3.2L cars - the last of the breed - truly classic 911s! So if you want to buy one for less you have to take the time to decide what you really need and not concentrate so much on what you really want, because we all want the best available, but in today's market many of us don't have the budget for such a buy.

Buying and enjoying a less than perfect Porsche is to our mind one of the very best ways to get around today's difficult to live with price realities. We say this because many less than perfect Porsches remain fabulous cars that can provide year after year of pure driving enjoyment yet they simply cost you less! If you want a truly prime example and have the budget for such a piece then we fully understand and support your chase to find the right one, but if you don't have such a budget and you still want an old, air cooled, Porsche don't give up as there are worthy options to consider!

Hard to find... 1987 Porsche Carrera Coupe - G50 5 Speed & 3.2L Air Cooled - Dry Climate 'Arizona' car, so it's both corrosion free and it still wears it's Original Factory Paint - 109k miles from new and reportedly a strong runner that shifts well and looks great.

Got to say we like the factory colour combo, which of course made great sense as a desert car to help keep the occupants cool - Grand Prix White on Linen Leather. Looking around the car you can see that the car has been shown some love and without doubt it was garage kept. The car has a pristine history which documents it's 'no hit' status and clean title. The history also indicates to us that the car spent most of it's later life parked, suspended in time hence the moderate mileage (for a dry climate car) and over all impressive cosmetics.

Cosmetics are impressive, but understandably not perfect, as we can see some dry climate induced patina on the driver's seat leather - no cuts or splits, but it is showing some age. That said the Original Paintwork looks great for this age and the minimally soiled, light coloured, Linen Interior Carpets are a good indication of a well respected car.

We think there may be a few surprises when we get down to a PPI on this, given it's apparent time off the road, but that said we believe it will still represents a good buy for the thinking Porschephile.

Maybe this is right for you, maybe it's not, but no matter which way this goes we are here to help you find the one you want! Remember we don't sell cars we instead help our clients realize their car dreams.

Offered at $39,990. USD

1987 Porsche 911 Beautiful 1987 Porsche 911 G50 Coupe - White

Fresh Find 17.03.07 - Impressive G50 'Driver' that drives great and presents well - all at an agreeable price point.

If you have been out looking for an Air Cooled Porsche you'll know how difficult it can be to find a car that fit's the above description... especially the comment on 'Agreeable Price'.

1989 Porsche Carrera Cabriolet - final year of the classic 3.2L/G50 Carreras and consider the best of the air cooled cars.

Gorgeous Triple Blue southern example that has been driven and fully enjoyed yet shown some respect.. as it would never look like this today with 213k miles on the odometer if it hadn't been loved along the way.

Now the prospect of owning a Porsche with this kind of mileage may be daunting to many, but we have experienced air cooled Porsches that has travelled a lot farther than this one and they remained fun and fabulous, so for us this type of mileage is not a turn off.

Recent investments in cosmetics along with some of the mechanical aspects of the car allow the next buyer to simply drive and enjoy for the coming season.

If you wish to dig deeper and learn more we welcome your call and we will work with you to determine the suitable of this high mileage Porsche for your needs.

We believe that a $30,000. USD offer will secure the car.

Fresh Find 17.03.07 - Crazy Canuk Speedster.

The past owner spent large when he commissioned the build of this Wide Body - 356 Speedster Tribute.

All the details are there and all of the money can been seen on display.. maybe a little over styled and if it were mine I would probably tone it down a touch by investing in a more Porsche appropriate set of wheels!

All said and done if you have been hunting for a fun summertime ride this well detailed 356 recreation may be the buy that you have been hunting for.

Reportedly built at a cost that well exceeded $50k the car has been done right, using the best of the best, and powered by a 135hp H4 Air Cooled.

The car is being offered by a retired gentlemen that due to age and injury is no longer able to enjoy this ride and it is priced right at just $29,900. CAD

Not right for everyone but a fabulous find for the right guy.

Fresh Find: 17.03.03 - Like near all 930's these days it can prove to be somewhat difficult to understand the prices being demanded by sellers. Many of these 930's could have been had for far less just a few years back when they seemed to us to be cheap and plentiful, but then the whole 'Air Cooled' thing took hold, and although it took awhile, it wasn't long before the market realized that the 930 was not just a Porsche Turbo, but it was in fact the near brightest star in the 'Air Cooled' Porsche world.

Of course not everyone will agree, but if you take the very rare, early to mid 70's ST/RS/Carrera cars out of the mix the 930s, being the Automotive Icon that it is, should clearly be next in line for marketplace glory. That said 930 production numbers, although not huge, were still significant given that over 23,000 - 930 Turbos were built by Porsche between 1975 - 1989 and of that number just over 10,000 were legitimately delivered into North America by Porsche.

So rare they are not, but the unique place that this true Icon holds in the minds of auto enthusiasts world wide and the storied nature of this Porsche Beast both on the road and on the track has rightfully impacted on market demand and in turn market value.

Demanding beast the 930 can certainly be, and next in line possibly to only the Dodge Viper, it is the most likely car to find itself sideways into a ditch, but that is just a piece of the lore that drives enthusiasts to own one, as who doesn't want to tame the beast. The ultimate poster car back in the day, when cars were king, is still for so many an object of desire and the dream of 930 ownership is a constant in many a mind many a decade after the dream first dawned.

Today we have a stunner of an 930 - higher miles than some, but with little doubt a car that has been both driven and loved, while being shown the respect such a piece of automotive art deserves, but yet so rarely gets.

1986 Porsche 930 Turbo Coupe - an original California delivered example that has had a total of just 4 owners since new and comes with a detailed history file from day one all stored in two - three ringed binders.

90k miles from new (average of just 3000 miles per year), but again a car that was never abused, modified or left unloved.

Car shows as near showroom original throughout which is a testament to the care it has been show by each of it's owners and the dry car friendly California climate where the car lived out it's life.

Offered at $89,500 USD

With luck you may find a lower mileage 930 available at this price point, but I suspect when all is said and done it won't approach the provenance and intrinsic value found in this 930.

Fresh Find: 17.03.02 - Not often you can find a G50 Coupe anymore that seems like a bargain. Now the car isn't perfect and some further investment will be required as the miles are added, but if by chance you do your own wrenching this may be exactly what you have been waiting for.

1988 Porsche Carrera Coupe finished in one of my favourite colour combos Granite Green Metallic on Grey Green Leather - unique but very attractive to my eyes.

114k original miles so yes this has been around the block, but still it has been well cared for and looks good for the mileage. Yes more presentable driver than show piece, but who wants a parked Porsche.

The car is on offer from a well respected Porsche specialist garage that has been servicing the piece for sometime now and it priced as it is because they discovered during during a Valve Adjustment service that one of the Head Studs had broken. Reportedly as yet this has not impacted on the performance of the car and no leaks or strange sounds are being emitted.

The car is virtually original except for the Sport Exhaust, Momo Wheel and Cup Rims.

So as you know with a broken head stud the car will eventually need a top end rebuild and of course you need to factor that in, but at least with this one you know that upfront.

Priced to sell @ $32,900. USD

Used 1973 Porsche 914

Fresh Find 17.03.02 - As is almost always the case with any 40+ year old automobile we have questions that have not yet been fully answered, but that said there is good promise here and it would appear to be certainly worthy of a more detailed inspection.

1973 Porsche 914 - 2.0L

Unless you have got very deep pockets the 2.0L 914's are the ones to own, sure a 914-6 would be nice, but now they are priced far beyond most buyer's budgets. And the 2.0L cars offers performance that almost mimics that of the earlier six cylinder cars.

Lots of recent work on this find including some corrosion repair prior to repaint... the big question is what was rusted and how good was the repair?

Pointing in the right direct is the fact that the seller also invested in a full engine rebuild at a local Porsche 'air cooled' specialist - now a dual carb 2.0L with new pistons, new cams and Burst Exhaust. In addition the clutch is new and both suspension and brakes have been refreshed. As well the interior was refitted with fresh materials, new body seals too!

So as we said this 914 shows good promise, especially at the $12,000. USD ask.

Interested... come on board by giving us a call and we will chase the fact on this find together!

Fresh Find: 17.03.01 - A Pure Porsche Bastard for sure, but it is a Porsche! What else can you call a 901 series Porsche that started life as an early SWB 912 and looks like this one does today.

Yes to me more project worthy than roadworthy, but to each there own as it is a plated, operational Porsche.

1966 Porsche 912 Coupe - California car that at some stage of it's life underwent the Slantnose Turbo Look Surgery.

Seller's Description may be a little generous..... Doors from 86' with power windows and power mirrors. 89 suspension (Larger Rotors) , 5 speed 901 Transmission, New Floor Pan-rubber coated. 1977 2.7 liter 911s carbureted 6 cylinder engine Twin Triple Webers, Headers.

Fog Lights, Bilstein Shocks, Momo steering wheel, 911 gauges, pop out rear side windows, undercoated, solid rocker panels, New Horn, Totally rewired, New Trunk Carpet, and 80 Targa Tan Interior.

This is a one of a kind car. No rust, Runs perfect looks perfect.

Car looks rough all over to my eyes, but I can still see some good in all the bad and I sense that this may prove to be a worthy project piece for someone looking to build a 'budget limited' Porsche Hotrod.

If the car proves worthy mechanically and structurally after a PPI - I would ditch the rear Whale Tail and consider a driver quality re-spray to correct the paint issues, then clean and detail the rest and drive and enjoy.

The ask is $23,000. USD

Fresh Find: 17.02.28 - You clearly know that spring is on the way when stuff like this starts showing up in the Canadian Market.

Sure we have seen other 550 Spyders shown in the Canadian marketplace in the past, but one like this, high specification, example is a very rare find.

1955 Porsche 550 Spyder Replica - a true quality piece that not just creates the aura of the now untouchable original 550's, but this one also matches and likely exceeds the performance capabilities of its race winning forbearers.

The impressive build quality is clearly evident throughout as are the careful choices that were made by the builder to reflect the imagery of the original 550s. Of course with the inclusion of some modern era muscle provided by the Subaru Boxer Engine help turn this creation into something very special.

Sure it's special and of course special never comes cheap, but that said try an build one like this today for less... the ask is $47,500. CAD (est. @ $32,000. USD)

Fresh Find: 17.02.27 - Rare Canadian 928 Find that is intriguing and priced aggressively too!

1988 Porsche 928 S4 - Described as an Original Paint Car - not ever winter driven and it looks the part!

The non original stripes and Rims would probably be removed if it were in my garage, but otherwise the car looks to be as described and in far nicer than condition than many of these elite Grand Touring Porsches you find.

170k original kilometers (105k miles) and the impressively preserved interior leather is indicative of a well loved 928. This S4 is factory equipped with the 5 Speed Automatic and of course the 316hp Quad Cam V8. Yes more GT than sports car, but still a fine example of Porsche engineering.

With the 928s finally finding some strong recent interest from enthusiast, prices have been on the rise and this local Canadian pre-spring offering we think looks like a prime opportunity.

Offered at $17,900. CAD (est. $13,500 USD)

Fresh Find 17.02.23 - A Porsche Find that is getting all too rare.

1994 Porsche 968 Coupe - blessed at birth with the 3.0L Twin Cam Inline Four which offers a healthy 240hp and when connected as it is here to the desirable 6 Speed Manual this car can give many a 911 a good run for the money.

End of era for Porsche's front engine rear drive chassis and considered to be the best of this breed. Certainly a car that has fabulous on road balance and surprisingly capable all round performance.

This is a quite rare find in Green Metallic on Grey Leather and just look at that condition of that interior as it will give you a hint into the good life this cars has had. 102k original miles, but you would never guess it had pasted the 60k mile mark - Clean CarFax History!

Paint looks to be mostly original and in nice condition, although not unusually at this age, we see indications of the bumpers being resprayed at some point.

Engine bay is pristine with no evidence of modifications. Still more to learn on this 968 but everything we see points on a positive direction on this car at the moment.

968s are simply great running, great looking uniquely styled Porsches and finding a worthy candidate at this price point is becoming all too rare.

Fresh Find 17.02.23 - Are you ready for this? Fabulous Track Day Toy all professionally prepped and ready to be enjoyed by the next fortunate owner.

This 1999 Porsche 911 was purchased from the a local Porsche dealer in Jan 2007 @ 54,615 miles.

In July 2011 the Porsche dealer performed the IMS retrofit and replaced the clutch. The car had only 59000 miles at that time.

Used only a few times a year for Porsche Club track days (HPDE) and maintained by the same Porsche dealer throughout the years.

Over the last 10 years our customer added a 3rd radiator, muffler bypass, Bilstein PSS9, H & R sway bars, strut brace, Victor wheels, Hoosiers, DAS roll bar, Sparco seats, 5-pt. harness, front splitter, GT2 deck/wing, tow hooks, tie-downs, new Pagid brakes, Trackmate Device and more.

The car is now back in the possession of the original Porsche dealer with only 6000 miles added in the last 10 years, and they have all the service history on file, including annual inspections brake flush and oil changes.

Factory seats, wheels w/Michelin Pilot Sports, mufflers, rear deck included if you may wish to convert it back to it's original specs.Car has been taken in trade at a

The new owner can use as he sees fit as although it has been tracked prepared it remains fully roadworthy.

The ask is $26,995. USD which is well below the cost you would incur if you attempted to replicate this on your own.

Fresh Find 17.02.23 - It is not often you'll find us showing one of these 'Conversion' cars, but every once and awhile we'll find one that has been done right. Most are half done messes, but the execution on this one is quite impressive from end to end.

Not a car for the traditionalist or the shy, quiet Porschephile that likes to disappear into the background. Trust me every drive in this one is going to be noticed.

Base car was a solid 1977 Porsche 911 Coupe, which approximately 10 year ago underwent a metamorphic transformation into a 993 RS - Look car with the professional installation of a high quality Euro Sourced body kit.

Of course that was just the start of the process as the car was enhanced further with upgrades inside and out.

Workmanship throughout looks to be very impressive - great looking and very well sorted.

Not for everyone, but someone is going to fall in love and get a good running 911 for $29,900. USD

Fresh Find: 17.02.21 - If you are on the hunt for perfection than this one isn't right for you. Yes, far less than perfect, but a car that may prove to be perfect for a Porschephile realist!

I have to tell you up front that I am always taken in by a Porsche Targa with that classic Stainless Steel hoop! Pretty 1978 Porsche 911 SC Targa - mileage displayed is 85k, but true mileage, as is the case with all the pre 17 digit VIN cars, is very hard to determine.

That said this is reportedly a solid, no known rust example with good images top and bottom to back up the rust free claim. The car underwent a re-colour from Mocca to Oak Green Metallic. Paintwork is fair for a 'driver' and the car remains presentable overall with the exception of some paintwork peeling off the passenger side door (probably poor prep work on this panel)... for me restore the door paint then drive and enjoy.

The Cork Interior underwent a refresh earlier with front seat reupholstered and carpets in contrasting Black - original dash has the common cracks and calls out for a cap or replacement.

Mechanically the car has reportedly been well serviced by a local Porsche specialist garage and it runs strong with a good shifting 915 transmission.

So yes there is little question that we are talking some imperfections here, but that said there are simply few drivable 'air cooled' Porsches left available in the marketplace at this price point and although it has some needs it is far better than most we have seen of late for this money.

Won't last at $24,900. USD
